Thank you for sharing this journey with me. We are all on a quest to find ourselves even if we are not aware of it. Sometimes it can be confusing, and hectic, and a bit overwhelming. Rest assured, you are not alone.

Hello, and welcome to my Blog.  I created this blog as sort of my personal ‘coming out ‘ diary.  The coming out I am referring to , is really a coming of age.  Through a series of hardships, issues, and struggles, I came to realize that the majority of things that I assumed held importance in my life, weren’t important after all.

I am in the process of discovering new things about life, and living in general , and I am finding that I knew close to nothing.  Just when you think you have it figured out, life shows you differently.  After the death of my mother, I began to question everything, including who I really was.  My spirit was broken, and I didn’t have the will to put up an internal fight, so I was defenseless against the answers to those questions.

Honest inquiry into who you are, also  requires you to be honest about who you have been.   And how you arrived there.    We all became who we are now for reasons, and it’s only when you investigate those reasons do you begin to live the life you actually want to live. Because you will find that the majority of things you held as important in your life…weren’t very important after all.     Each and every one of us goes through, and feels the same things, every day of our lives.

We may never know one another,  nor speak the same language, but a  mother in Japan, wants the same things for her children, as I do for mines.  A son in  London wants the same thing for his parents as a daughter in New York.  The combinations are endless. The point is that we are all doing the ‘being human dance’. Loving, hoping, working, laughing, and trying to make it through this journey with our sanity intact.

When you begin to tell yourself the truth (sometimes unattractive), you can begin to see how you are just like everyone else.  You will begin to see some of the errors of your ways.  And its up to you to decide how to proceed after you have faced your own demons. We are all wandering through this shared and connected journey, wondering if we have purpose.  We share in wondering about the Divine.  We share in loss.  We share in grief.  We share in self-doubt.

It is my sincerest wish that you read something here that you can connect with.  I hope that you find that we share some of the same thoughts.    Regardless as to what I’ve heard,  I believe that two thought waves in a positive direction, have tremendous impact.  Thank you so much for taking the time to be here.

WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?

TO LOVE, TO PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE AND EMPATHETIC SERVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO OTHERS. TO BE AN AID TO  BROKEN SOULS.

HOW CAN I FULFILL MY PURPOSE?

BY COMMUNICATING. BY BEING A MESSENGER OF WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUTH.  BY TRYING TO UNDERSTAND OTHERS.  BY GIVING WHERE AND WHEN I CAN.  BY BEING COMPASSIONATE AT ALL TIMES. BY BEING TRUE AND RESPONSIBLE IN MY THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS.  BY HONORING ALL CONNECTIONS.

I wish you well on  your journey.  Remember the point of our existence is to leave the world in a little better shape than when we arrived.  I love you!

This Blog site, like myself is under construction.  It, and I are both going through a process of growth. 🙂  On these pages are the lessons that I am learning from the trials and joys of being human.

  5. I’m always happy to meet people who desire to grow spiritually and promote real change. One way to make the necessary changes in ourselves is to surround ourselves with people of similar thinking. This is why I have subscribed to your blog. I look forward to intellectual dialogue in the days to come

  6. Lisa, I am feeling your blog & purpose & your ideas about helping others. I’m journeying toward the same things in my life. I authored an eBook call “10 Must Do’s For A Healthy Lifestyle” after noticing how uneducated some of us are about living healthy. My goal is to help others by educating and dispelling the myths about living healthy. I will keep in touch with you so that we can, maybe, help each other on our journeys. Take care.
